The Combination Method
Hi-Lite pioneered the concept of combining the thoroughness and cost effectiveness of hydroblasting with the speed and efficiency of chemical cleaning. The combination process of applying Aero-Green 4035, followed by moderate scrubbing, and a rinse with low water pressure, results in a super clean runway in half the time.  The water flushes the rubber residue from the airfield’s surface as well as reaching in to the pores where the brooms cannot. Using chemical cleaning and hydroblasting to clean airport runways is a faster, safer process which leaves the surface cleaner than either of these methods alone.

The Texturing Method
Hi-Lite shotblasting is setting new standards of excellence for surface preparation. This equipment provides a cost effective and environmentally-friendly method for texturing concrete and asphalt surfaces. The machine strips, cleans and profiles simultaneously, leaving the surface immediately ready for use by aircraft. Airborne dust and contaminants are collected and contained in the machine's dust collector for easy disposal.
